Peaceful, welcoming landscapes or dramatic, rough ones, as well as venerable coltural heritages, enrich most continents.

But few, gifted places offer a balance of all of that at once, and of that old fashined art of living.
When you land in those places, you feel somehow at home. In the best possible world sometimes, like in certain valleys and towns of Italy, for instance.
The nature all around, not too tidy perhaps, but present there as a kind of civilized habitat, where fields and hills are like designed and slowly shaped by generations of men.

We drink at lunch a litlle, and at dinner mostly, the wine is an everyday presence, like bread pasta or olive oil.
You learn to drink at home, you know the wine by sampling and experiencing.
