Attempts are being made to reach achievable targets to reduce where possible negative environmental impacts. One specific item at this time includes the use of local ground operators that utilize smaller boats with single engines on the New River & in the area of Belize's World Heritage Reef.

Socio-culture responsibility is one of Beyond Touring's strengths. Serious efforts are taken to mitigate negative socio-culture impacts that include direct Indian Church Village community benefits measurable through a scholarship program & construction of a library & programs. Guide & conservation training programs will be conducted in the library.

Economic Impact

Every effort is taken to provide direct economic benefits through the the use of local guides, the purchase of locally made products (including gift shop items), direct booking of locally owned properties, ground operators, & restaurants. Training programs will increase the economic benefits to the local community.

Indian Church Village welcomes assistance with their library programs, their artisan project, and their government school. Although clients visit up to three different areas on their high end eco tour they often feel their experience in Indian Church Village was the most exciting & rewarding.
