Laughing Water Guest Ranch is the epitome of western adventure. Tucked away in the Kootenai National Forest just west of Glacier National Park, this family owned and operated dude ranch offers something for everyone. We offer a host of activities and adventure for children, families, singles and adults. We provide our guests the opportunity to take a step back and reconnect with nature, with beauty, with life itself. A time to live free and unrestrained from the confines of city life. A week at our dude ranch will touch your heart and set your spirit on fire no matter your age. Our "Lite Season" during May and September is for adults and singles aged 18 and over and is provided at over 50% off our main season prices. Our "Main Season" during June, July and August emphasizes the family. We don't mean to brag, but our youth programs for kids 4-14 is the best in the west that offers a full week of exciting and adventurous activities. We offer a variety of specialty weeks as well. Depending upon the week you visit we offer cattle drives, sorting clinics, rodeos, whitewater rafting, pack trips and overnight trail rides. Other fun activities include hayrides, square dances, campfires, trip to Glacier National Park, bbq's, lots of horseback riding, and much more.

Itinerary

Ranch Dining

Come to the Chuckwagon Dining Room, where you'll be greeted with tantalizing aromas and friendly smiles.  Prime Rib, Pork Wellington, BBQ Ribs and Steaks.  Italian and Mexican nights are always a favorite with our guests.  But wait till you see and taste the decadent desserts. Have to loosen your belt a notch?  It's OK because you're on a vacation of a life time. And we're always pleased to celebrate and make special for our guests any birthdays, anniversaries or special occasions.

Ranch Activities

The ranch has a wonderful trail system for scenic and challenging horseback rides.  You won't see any other riders, since Laughing Water is the only dude ranch in the area. Many activities to join in on, with cattle drives, trips to Glacier Park with white water rafting, hayrides, karaoke & dancing, adult target shooting, poker, pool table along with the hot tub, square dance and outdoor cooking and fire pits.  There is much to do and all the while making memories that will last a lifetime.

Ranch Lodging

After a long exciting day, our accommodations will make you feel right at home.  In the Main Lodge you will find four 2-room suites with adjoining full tiled bathrooms. In case you need it, our Dude Ranch has Internet Access in the Lodge.  Our beautiful log cabins nestled amongst the tall pines, are named after famous western painters, and tastefully decorated with their artwork. Each duplex cabin has a private room, bath, and covered porch on each end.
