Day 3 Kayak peaceful inlets and vast kelp beds, spotting harbor seals, otters and bald eagles near Roche Harbor Sweeping vistas of Vancouver Island and the Olympic Peninsula greet you as you ride past Lime Kiln Point State Park, the only whale-watching park in the U.S. Check out the Whale Museum's collection of artwork and artifacts.
Day 4 Search for minke whales and majestic orcas during a wildlife cruise with a local naturalist Look for Dall's porpoises swimming with the boat Circle sparkling Mountain Lake in beautiful Moran State Park, a nature-lover's paradise.
Days 5-6 Summit Mount Constitution for 360-degree views of the islands, Mount Rainier, Mount Baker and the Olympic Range The renowned open-air studios of Orcas Island Pottery make for great shopping Pedal hemlock- and fir-lined lanes en route to lunch at the landmark Orcas Hotel, overlooking the water.
