Itinerary

Day 1 – JOHANNESBURG: Arrive Johannesburg, where you will be met and transferred to Peermont Metcourt Suites, a modern contemporary hotel with spacious rooms located near the airport and is part of  Emperors Palace complex. Overnight here.

Day 2 – SABI SAND GAME PRIVATE RESERVE: After breakfast, take the complimentary shuttle to the airport for your flight to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport, where you’ll be met and transferred to Nottens Bush Camp. You’ll arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight here. (B, L, D, Dr)

Nottens Bush Camp is a family owned and managed lodge. The 8 individual private suites are elegantly styled with spacious en-suite bathrooms boasting large baths and elaborate sunken outdoor showers. All the suites open out to private wooden viewing decks. The purposeful absence of electric lighting creates a magical atmosphere under the ambient light of candles and lanterns. The open boma is where you will enjoy candlelit meals under the African sky.

Days 3-4 – SABI SAND PRIVATE GAME RESERVE: Enjoy two full days of safari activities including morning and evening game drives in open-top Land Rovers.  Bush walks are also offered daily.  The Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve is a 250 square mile reserve, pioneered by the landowners in the 1950’s. Today, their legacy is the successful conservation of the highest density of big game in South Africa. Even with the unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park, the game in the Sabi Sand Reserve is well habituated resulting in unforgettable close encounters and prolific sightings, particularly of the elusive leopard. The Sabi and the Sand Rivers run through the reserve, which add to the bio-diversity of this area. Meals and overnights at Nottens Bush Camp. (B, L, D, Dr)

Day 5 – CAPE TOWN: After breakfast, you will transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for your flight to Cape Town International Airport. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to The Commodore Hotel. Set in the heart of Cape Town's working harbor, the V&A Waterfront has become one of South Africa's most visited destinations, where its bustling sights, entertainment, and shopping opportunities are right on your doorstep. Overnight The Commodore. (B)


Day 6 – CAPE POINT & PENINSULA TOUR: This private full day tour of the Cape Peninsula starts with the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, before crossing over to Hout Bay, with an optional boat cruise to Seal Island. Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via Chapman’s Peak, where a funicular takes you to the top of the Peninsula to witness the symbolic meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans Stop for lunch before continuing to Simonstown, the naval base, and then visit the African Penguin breeding colony at Boulders Beach. On the return trip, enjoy a stop at the world renowned Kirstenbosch Gardens before arriving at your hotel late this afternoon. Overnight The Commodore . (B)

Day 7 – CAPE WINELANDS TOUR: After breakfast, begin your private tour of the Winelands. Your first stop is Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa. Enjoy wine tasting coupled with a chocolate and dessert tasting. Continue onward over the scenic Helshoogte Pass, to Franschhoek, widely regarded as the culinary capital of South Africa, for a wine tasting at one of the renowned estates. Continue on to the town of Paarl before heading back to The Commodore Hotel. Overnight here. (B)

Day 8 – FLIGHTS: After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
