Arrive in Windhoek on Day 2. Explore Windhoek, where history and beauty merge in the quaint architecture, charming streets and gardens. Visit the seat of government and the Christuskirche church, whose spire is a town landmark.

Sossusvlei

Twyfelfontein, Okahirongo Elephant Lodge & Kaokoland

Fly into Twyfelfontein to visit the rock engravings, a World Heritage Site, before continuing onto Okahirongo Elephant Lodge located in one of the last wild areas in northwestern Namibia. Okahirongo shares this region with the nomadic Himba people. Catch sight of springboks, ostrich and oryx, and track the elusive desert-adapted elephant. Hike along the Uarosib River and enjoy a visit with local Himba families who will share their stories and traditions.
