DAYS 3 – 5

Chobe River Cruise, Botswana

The great Chobe River divides Namibia’s Caprivi Strip from Botswana’s Chobe National Park, and the river’s exotic banks boast one of the densest populations of wildlife on the African continent. After boarding your home for the next three nights — the luxurious Zambezi Queen — embark on the first of many game-viewing cruises from small boats that allow you to get close to the elephants, crocodiles and hippos that call the river home. When you’re not on safari, take a dip in the pool, enjoy a relaxing siesta, tour a local village by canoe or even do some fishing.
