DAYS 1 – 3

Arrive in Buenos Aires on Day 2 and experience the thrill of its bustling streets, vibrant neighborhoods, world-class museums and fine restaurants. Enjoy a privately guided tour of the fascinating Recoleta Cemetery, the final resting place of Eva Perón and other Argentinean luminaries. Explore the colorful neighborhood of La Boca, visit the presidential Casa Rosada and take an exclusive backstage tour of the majestic Teatro Colón. Learn the tango in one of the city’s most esteemed schools and then attend a festive dinner and tango performance at the esteemed Esquina Carlos Gardel. Named after the famous singer, this is the city’s premier tango house, where you will discover the magic and history behind Argentina’s most famous dance.

DAYS 4 & 5

Discover the wonders of Patagonia’s spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Site of Los Glaciares National Park. Experience the allure of the endless ice of Glacier Perito Moreno with a guided mini-trek on the glacier. And get a panoramic view of the magnificent icescapes from the extensive catwalks. You’ll also take a private cruise to the base of the glacier. For almost an hour, you will sail beside the 229-foot-high wall of ice. You may hear thunderous impacts as huge chunks of ice calve into the water. In the charming alpine town of El Calafate, stroll through the picturesque streets, have a coffee or hot chocolate in a café, or just relax with a glass of Argentinean Malbec and watch the light change on this beautiful southern landscape.

DAYS 6 – 9

Explore the majestic mountain scenery of one of the world’s most incredible national parks from your lodge, which lies on the banks of the Salto Chico waterfall. Marvel at the icy peaks, massive ice fields and pristine alpine lakes as you immerse yourself in the beauty of Patagonia. Each day you’ll have the option to select from a number of activities offered by the lodge to help you discover the unique landscapes and wildlife of this remote southern land. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about the lifestyle of the gauchos, the people who call this place home. And don’t forget to take some time to relax in the spa, which boasts a heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna and four open-air Jacuzzis, all with views of Lago Pehoé and Macizo del Paine.

DAYS 10 & 11

From La Moneda Palace to Cathedral Metropolitana, discover the beauty and nuance of Santiago. We’ll journey to one of Chile’s renowned traditional wineries, the Santa Rita Winery, where we learn about the winemaking process and explore the winery’s unique pre-Columbian art collection.

DAYS 12 & 13

Tour the Pueblito de Los Domínicos, a beautiful arts and crafts center that exhibits styles from all over the country. On the evening of Day 12, board your flight home, arriving the following day.
