We had the most fabulous trip that I could have imagined. I did not want it to end but there it is! We had a perfect mix of planned and unplanned. The hotels were great - each with its own little charm. The tour guides were both superb, especially the one in Florence. Her depth of knowledge was so interesting that I think she could do whole trips with just the artwork. She knows and loves her Florence. There is nothing that I can think of to have made it any better except maybe more time :-). The booklet that you sent us was so very helpful. It had great ideas and we could look things up when we would get overwhelmed. The guides had a suggestion or two as well for us. We did find the yarn place in Chianti you suggested and it was very fascinating. Thanks again for everything.

Itinerary
Departing from Positano, as you come into Capri you'll pass the infamous Tiberio's leap - legend has it that this was the place where disobedient servants and unwanted guests were thrown over the cliff! Upon reaching the island's port, your captain provides you with maps of the island, as well as information about the must-see sites; then you have about four hours to independently explore the island.Once you return to the boat, a panoramic ride around the island begins and you will be able to admire Capri's rugged cliffs, white sand beaches, lemon trees, flowers and magnificent views from the water. An optional stop at the beautiful Blue Grotto, known for the intense blue tones of its interior and the magical silvery light, gives you a chance to enter the mouth of the cave to admire the spectacular colors. Then, you'll head to the Green Grotto, named for the emerald colored waters that fill its interior.
Capri's iconic symbol is the trio of three rugged rock formations known as the Faraglioni. On your way to see them, you can stop for a swim in one of the island's hidden bays. Last stop of the tour is the White Grotto. At the conclusion of the excursion, you'll return to Positano with many happy memories and pictures of the fabled isle of Capri.
