TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

  • Enjoy active days exploring, returning each evening to relax in pampered luxury
  • Hike the hidden valleys of the majestic Dolomites – a recently named UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • Learn rock-climbing basics or experience a via ferrata with an expert UIAGM/IFMGA mountain guide
  • Enjoy a night in a charming rifugio, experiencing the real mountaineer style

Soaring high in the sky, Italy's majestic Dolomites mountains play host to our exciting family adventure with a luxurious base in the charming village of San Cassiano in the heart of the Alta Badia region. We take the best of this fairy-tale setting – incredible scenery, gorgeous hotels and rifugi, and delectable cuisine – and weave them together with great activities. And, we do it all in luxurious style!

From hiking, via ferrata, and rock climbing, to learning about the mountains, unique cultures, and history, there are plenty of options for kids and adults alike. And you’ll find plenty of time for family activities that you can share together, as well as opportunities where kids can be kids, and adults can, well, be adults

We'll spend the first few nights enjoying luxurious accommodations in San Cassiano. From here we hike to the Rifugio Lagazuoi where we will overnight and experience the unique mountain inn style, in addition to its superb panoramas and fascinating WWI relics. We soon return to luxury in Alta Badia, enjoying this bastion of the ancient Ladin culture that remains intact here in the heart of the Dolomites.

     Molto Bene!
Great views, great places to stay, great food/drink and even great weather.....you were able to accommodate a 15 month old as well as the over 50 crowd.  Lots of logistics for you to manage and it was well done.  We'll have great, fun memories of your beautiful country and we'll be talking about this trip for a long time. Please use me as a positive reference for your company any time.
