Day 1 - Arrive Bangkok (D)
Thailand in Style - 7 Days / 6 Nights - itineraryOn arrival in Bangkok, Exotissimo tour guide will welcome you at the airport and take you to your hotel by a limousine. You will have some time to relax and enjoy your elegant guest room at the world's leading Bangkok riverside hotel, the Oriental.
In the evening, start your orientation in a city of angel with a dinner cruise on Manohra, a magnificent rice barge that has been converted into one of Bangkok's finest dining venues. Enjoy a sumptuous five-course dinner while cruising along the Chao Phraya River.

Day 2 - Bangkok (B,L)
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Wat Po in time to experience the monks early morning chanting ritual (chanting starts at 9am). One of the oldest temples in Bangkok, Wat Po is home of the famous 45 meter reclining Buddha as well as being the original school of traditional Thai massage. Continue to The Grand Palace, the most important and impressive royal palace in Thailand. Your guide will show you the palaces used for different occasions - the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and of course the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Appropriate dress is required (or can be rented on site).
In the afternoon, board a longtail boat for a ride towards the north of the city through the labyrinth of klongs (canals). Head to peaceful Klong Bang Luang, passing shophouses, temples and vendors along the way. Continuing by boat, head to Baan Silapin, a 100 year old house turned into an art gallery. Enroute back to the city stop to visit the Temple of Dawn - Wat Arun, arriving back early afternoon.

Day 3 - Bangkok - Chiang Mai (B,D)
Thailand in Style - 7 Days / 6 Nights - itinerary
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Chiang Mai. Head straight to the hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, enjoy dinner at an atmospheric restaurant and let a kom loy (floating ballon) take flight into the night sky, in hopes that all your misfortune will float away.

Day 4 - Chiang Mai (B,L,D)
Travel to a local farmhouse in Mae Rim and enjoy the tranquil and soothing environment. Then, board a longtail boat for a cruise on the Mae Ping River. Pass subtle riverside houses and posh mansions to Warorot Fresh Food Market and experience the colorful and lively ambiance. Hop on a trishaw along Rajdamnern Road to Wat Phra Singh, in the middle of the old city.
In the afternoon, explore ancient Chiang Mai including its old city walls, moats, gates and markets. After visiting Wat Suan Dok, where the ashes of Chiang Mai's royal family are interred, and the historic Jed Yot temple, you continue to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, the temple on the mountain, and the most sacred in North Thailand. Enjoy the evening atmosphere, when the crowds are minimal and where you can receive your private blessing, witness the monk chant and be treated to awesome views of the city.

Day 5 - Chiang Mai - Golden Triangle (B,D)
After breakfast, board a helicopter to the Golden Triangle. The view is spectacular! Arrive at Chiang Rai Airport and head out to explore the camp or watch wildlife with a tented camp naturalist.
In the evening, enjoy the sunset atmosphere either via elephant trek, river excursion or sitting by the camp. Then, head for dinner at an open air thatched roofed restaurant by the river offering Thai, Burmese and lao cuisine as well as western dishes.

Day 6 - Golden Triangle (B)
Start the day by meeting a mahout, the man who trains his elephant and will show you how to as well. After breakfast, enjoy the rest of the morning with a soothing spa session. This will set you up nicely for an afternoon exploration of the Golden Triangle area. Head back to the resort for dinner and a good night's rest.

Day 7 - Golden Triangle - Departure (B)
You will be at leisure until it is time to leave for Chiang Rai Airport for your flight.
