Itinerary

DAY 1
ARRIVAL KIGALI

On arrival at Kigali Airport you are met and are taken on a city tour of Kigali with a picnic lunch before departing north to Rehengeri. In the late afternoon you arrive and relax at your lodge. Overnight Mountain Gorilla Nest (picnic lunch – dinner).

DAY 2
GORILLA TRACKING

Breakfast is taken early to enable you to arrive at the park offices at 7am where you are allocated to a gorilla group. The trackers guides then give a briefing on the rules and regulations and codes of conduct before setting off once again in a vehicle to the trail heads. You then set off to track the gorilla which depends heavily upon which group you are tracking and where they are and can be very exertive. Once located you then have only 1 hour to spend with them but possibly one of the most extraordinary hours of your life. After your time with the Gorillas you return to the trail head and you are transffered back for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon you drive back to Kigali and have dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight Kigali Serena (breakfast – lunch – dinner at own expense)

DAY 3
DEPART

In the morning after breakfast you are transferred to connect with your outbound flights.
