Itinerary

Day 1: Reception at Bariloche
We will be waiting for you at the Bariloche Airport. Transfer to your hotel on the shore of the Nahuel Huapi Lake, a cozy inn surrounded by nature, a few miles away from town.
Introductory meeting and the rest of the day is yours to relax away, or walk through the magnificent surroundings.

Lago Nahuel Huapi / Bariloche- Argentina

Day 2: Bariloche
Morning chairlift ride to the top of Mt. Campanario for great views of Northern Patagonia and the Lake District. A setting of countless lakes surrounded by the impressive mountain range of the Andes. We take our bikes for a fun ride on gravel roads. Picnic lunch by a creek side, and we follow the road to Cathedral Village and down to the shore of Lake Gutierrez.

Cycling: 3 hours ( 30 km)
Terrain: Mostly rolling hills on gravel roads.

Lago Nahuel Huapi / Bariloche- Argentina

Day 3: Bariloche / Villa La Angostura
After breakfast, we shuttle for about an hour and a half to La Angostura, a small village within superb scenery on the shore of the largest lake of the region, the Nahuel Huapi. After some time for lunch at the village, we will take our bikes on a catamaran and sail the Nahuel Huapi to the Quetrihue Península, from where we will be cycling back through the cinnamon tonalities of the Arrayanes National Forest.

Mountain biking on biking trails- 12 Km. Difficulty level: Moderate

Villa la Angostura / Argentina

Day 4: Villa La Angostura – San Martín de los Andes. Biking across the Cordoba Pass
Morning shuttle through a contrasting, almost deserted area…later on, a zigzag ascend will take us atop the Córdoba Pass, from where we take our bikes.. we bike passing wild rock formations as we enjoy the pure pleasure of the smooth descent toward the Caleufú River valley… the words remote and virgin come to mind… Picnic lunch by the Caleufú River. On the famous Seven Lakes Road we will cycle the remaining kms. to the charming town of San Martín de los Andes.

Cycling distance: 30 kms, on gravel roads. Difficulty level: Moderate

San Martín de los Andes-Argentina

Day 5: San Martín de los Andes
Morning cycling to Villa Quila Quina, a small settlement by the Lacar lake and land of the Mapuches,
( natives of the region ) , where we can enjoy the quiet and untamed beauty of this land, with rewarding sights of the lake and peaks from Argentina & Chile. Picnic lunch at the village. Afternoon catamaran back to San Martin de los Andes. Leisure at this beautiful town.
Tonight we taste superb Argentine Malbecs at the local Wine-Bar.

Day 6: San Martín de los Andes – Bariloche airport.
