Day 1

Depart the United States on your overnight flight to Dublin, Ireland. Our travel planners are available to assist with your flight arrangements and any pre- or post-tour arrangements.
 
Day 2

Cead mile failte! Meet your Irish driver/guide in the arrivals hall to begin your journey. Your early arrival should have you feeling ready for your first taste of Ireland, tea and scones, shortly after leaving Dublin. Arrive Kilkenny with time to explore the city at your leisure before joining your group for dinner in the hotel. Overnight: Hibernian Hotel, Kilkenny (B, D)
 Day 3

Begin the day with a guided tour of Kilkenny Castle, home to the Butler family for centuries and now restored to its original splendor. Next, a trip to the legendary Rock of Cashel, an enormous limestone mound bristling with ancient fortifications. A brief audio/visual presentation of this mighty structure helps explain its historical significance. Overnight: Hibernian Hotel, Kilkenny (B, D)

 Day 4

A short drive takes you to Blarney Castle, where those energetic enough will have an opportunity to climb the 104 steps to kiss the stone and receive "the gift of eloquence"; or you may wish to spend time shopping at the Woolen Mills. Enjoy spectacular scenery as you journey through the Killarney National Park before arriving to your hotel. Overnight: Killarney Avenue Hotel, Killarney (B, D)

 Day 5

Ireland is known for her scenic splendor and the picturesque views you will see today are images that have been carved into memories for decades gone by. Begin the journey with a visit to Muckross House & Gardens, one of Ireland's finest stately manors. Continuing on, your highlight today is the majestic Ring of Kerry, one of the most spectacular scenic drives in all of Ireland offering 110-miles of dramatic coastal and mountainous scenery, enveloping charming towns and quaint villages of the Southwest.  Day 6

As you journey to Galway, you will travel along the beautiful coast of Clare and the lunar landscapes of the Burren with a stop at the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, which stand 700 feet above the windswept Atlantic Ocean. Arrive Galway with time to explore the city before reuniting with your group for a delicious dinner in the hotel. Overnight: Westwood House Hotel, Galway (B, D)
 
Day 7

Relax and enjoy the scenery of the wild and wonderful Connemara region. Today's journey takes you to Killary Harbor, Ireland's only fjord, for a delightful cruise including complimentary tea and scones as you take in some of Ireland's most rugged scenery. Back on land, continue to Kylemore Abbey, one of the most photographed locations in Ireland. Return to Galway in early evening with time to explore, relax, or discover the perfect spot for a pint. Day 8
Today's journey will take you to the vibrant city of Dublin. Stop en route for a tour of Clonmacnoise; a guided tour of this site will reveal some of the best examples of high crosses and round towers in Ireland. Tonight enjoy dinner and authentic Irish entertainment at Taylors Three Rock with live music, comedy, song, and dance in a charming thatched roof venue. Overnight: Alexander Hotel, Dublin (B)
 
Day 9

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Dublin City to explore the elegant Georgian squares and houses, colorful parks, and bustling shopping areas, culminating with a tour of Trinity College for a glimpse of the world-renowned 9th century Book of Kells. Then, onto the Guinness Storehouse, filled with 250 years of history, seven floors of exhibits, and topped with a complimentary pint of Guinness and panoramic views of Dublin from the Gravity Bar.
