Itinerary

Day 01+02
Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and assisted to the Intercontinental Johannesburg Airport Sun, adjacent to the Arrivals Hall. Overnight InterContinental Johannesburg Airport Sun.
 
Day 03-05
Depart on the scheduled inter-Africa flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. On arrival you will be met and transferred by vehicle to your camp in Hwange National Park. The northern region of Hwange National Park is made up of two areas called Sinamatella and Robins. This part of the park is good for spotting kudu, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo, klipspringer, warthog, lion, hyena and leopard. Activities include game drives but the real highlight are the walking safaris to track lion and rhino. 3 nights Kazuma Trails.
 
Day 06+07
Today you will be game drive enroute to your next camp located in the south-eastern section of Hwange. The park ranges from semi-desert in the south to a plateau in the north. The northern part of Hwange is mudstone and basalt, and the southern part is Kalahari sand veld. Activities include morning and night game drives and walking safaris. 2 nights Davison's Camp.
 
Day 08+09
This morning you will transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Mana Pools National Park. On arrival you will be met by your private guide and continue to camp. The park covers a section of the Middle Zambezi Valley, extending from the Zambezi River in the north to the escarpment in the south. The Zambezi Valley is a western extension of the Great Rift Valley. The Pools of Mana are lakes that mark former courses of the Zambezi. The activities are varied, walks, drives, canoeing and fishing. The activities are planned to fit you and what action is going on in the bush at the time, so you get to experience the best out of what is happening in Mana Pools. 2 nights Little Vundu Tented Camp.
 
Day 10+11
This morning you will be briefed on your canoe trip for the next two nights, which begins at the western edge of the park and finishes at the eastern end of the park. You are doing your own canoeing with the current in sturdy 18ft Canadian canoes. Paddle your way through the sand banks and islands, watching pods of hippo or elephants wallowing at midday to cool off. This afternoon you will paddle to your first campsite. All luggage and gear will be driven ahead to the camp, which is set up in advance. You arrive at your first canoe site around dusk where refreshments await you. A typical day of your canoeing safari will begin at dawn. Tea and coffee are served before setting off on the river to view the sun rising over the Zambezi. 2 nights Ruwesi Mobile Canoe Camps.
 
Day 12+13
You will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. The afternoon is a good time to view the falls (park entry fee US$30 pp payable direct). Next morning enjoy a day at leisure. Optional activities you may book for an extra charge. 2 nights Victoria Falls Hotel.
 
Day 14+15
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport. Connect with your flight to Johannesburg, South Africa. Continue onward overnight to the USA.
