Itinerary
Day 1 Arusha - Arusha Coffee lodge
Your first night in Africa is spent at the Arusha Coffee lodge. This cozy, boutique hotel/lodge is built within a coffee plantation just outside Arusha. The lodges 30 luxurious suites in 18 cottages are built amongst coffee trees and reflect the colonial style of the original plantation homes, which serve as the reception and dining area.
Day 2/3/4 - Lake Manyara - Gibbs Farm
Upon arrival, your guide is waiting for you and drives you in your private 4X4 vehicle to Gibb’s Farm near Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage site.
Ngorongoro Crater is a microcosm of East African scenery with abundant wildlife – more than 25,000 larger animals, mostly zebra and wildebeest.
You will be staying at Gibb’s Farm, at the entrance to the Highlands, midway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. The farm is an oasis of green, calm and beauty, in a landscape that can often be parched, dry and dusty.
Day 5/6/7 - Serengeti - Sayari
You will fly from Manyara to the Northern Serengeti by the Mara River. You will spend two nights at Sayari Camp.
This is exactly where you want to be to see the great wildebeest migration. Serengeti National Park (3,646,500 acres) is the jewel in the crown of Tanzania’s protected areas with over three million large mammals roaming its plains.
Far away from any other sign of human life, the Sayari camp crew ensures that every guest feels at home in this remote location.
Day 8 - En Route To Europe / the US
In the after-noon you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha.
A representative will meet you in Arusha, and accompany you to the international airport for your connecting flight back to Europe / the US.
