I’m back from safari and really enjoyed the trip. The Dian Fossey 40th Anniversary day turned out to be really special. That new Virunga Lodge is amazing...the most stunning scenic vistas I’ve seen anywhere.

Itinerary
Day 1: London Heathrow to MumbaiFly from London to Mumbai (flight supplementary to the tour price).
Day 2: Mumbai to Nagpur to Pench
Arrive in Mumbai and connect with your onward flight to Nagpur, the gateway to tiger country. On your way to Pench National Park, you'll see a colourful array of Indian birds as well as cheeky roadside Rhesus Macaque monkeys.
2 nights at the Pench Jungle Camp (Cottage). Full Board.
Day 3: Pench
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park, one of the most accessible tiger reserves in the country; in fact the famously beautiful park inspired Rudyard Kipling's 'The Jungle Book'. Keep your eyes peeled for tiger, leopard, jungle cat, leopard cat, striped hyena, wild dog, wolf, common mongoose, sloth bear, pangolin, spotted deer, sambar, barking deer, nilgai, wild pig and gaur.
Day 4: Pench to Kanha
After our final early morning game drive in Pench, traverse the scenic Vindhya Hills to the outstanding Kanha Tiger Reserve.
4 nights at Tuli Tiger Resort (Cottage) or Kanha Jungle Lodge (Cottage). Full Board.
Days 5 to 7: Kanha
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the National Park. Tigers are elusive creatures and are quick to vanish into the undergrowth, but a huge paw print in the dust or the alarm calls of deers and monkeys can often lead us to them. The magic of spotting a tiger in the wild is a truly magical experience.
Day 8: Kanha to Nagpur
After a final morning's game drive in Kanha, transfer by road to Nagpur.
1 night at the Tuli Imperila (Deluxe Room). Breakfast Included.
Day 9: Nagpur to Mumbai to London Heathrow
Fly home from Mumbai to London (flight supplementary to the tour price).
