A unique and once in a lifetime opportunity to see the very best of Bornean wildlife. Take a boat cruise deep into the Bornean rainforests and experience something amazingly unique. As eco adventurer Catherine Capon says, “Travelling by boat is a truly tranquil experience. At night, you’ll moor up along the river and sleep under the stars with the firefly fiesta for your entertainment”. This trip also includes a visit to a very special place - Camp Leakey. It is a world famous research and conservation centre and world leaders in saving orangutan populations from extinction in the wild, protect orangutan habitats and rehabilitate and release wild-born ex-captive orangutans back to the wild.

Meet Orangutans up close and personal in their natural habitat. This extraordinary trip is a nature lovers paradise, not only that but your trip directly funds conservation efforts at the camp.  Here we venture further into the rainforest where you can catch a glimpse of wild Orangutans in their natural habitat, as well as proboscis monkeys, anteaters, crocodiles, lemurs, porcupines and gibbons.

After around 2 hours you will arrive at your next stop – Tanjung Putting National Park where you can trek around in search of orangutans and other endemic species of Kalimantan and other exotic fauna and flora. After discovering what the National Park has to offer, you will have a peaceful afternoon of exploring the serene river on the klotok whilst observing the monkeys and other friendly species along the riverside.
