Itinerary
Day 1 - ArrivalOur driver will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive you to Arusha Coffee Lodge by Elewana.
Depending on your arrival time, you’ll have time to explore this vibrant city known as the safari capital of the northern circuit.
Day 2 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast you will be picked up by your driver-guide and start driving to Tarangire National park for game viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a location within the park. Continue the day with an afternoon game drive. Your driver-guide will drive you to The Manor at Ngorongoro by Elewana where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.
Tarangire National Park has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside of the Serengeti. The park shows spectacular natural beauty with majestic baobab trees and river valleys. Large numbers of elephant herds congregate here as well as giraffes, gazelles, antelopes, lions, leopards, and baboons.
Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater
Have a fantastic early breakfast, around 6 am, at the lodge. You will
start your day with driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend to the
crater for a game drive. You will have a picnic lunch at the crater floor.
Later in the afternoon ascend the crater and drive to Ngorongoro Crater Lodge by &Beyond
for your dinner and overnight stay.
Ngorongoro Crater covers approximately 260 sq km and its walls rise to
heights of 600 meters from the crater floor. The crater always manages to take
your breath away as you stand on its rim and look down at the 10 mile wide
crater floor. It is estimated that 30,000 animals live in the crater making it
the most intensive wildlife viewing.
Day 4 - Serengeti National Park
After
breakfast, you will start your drive with picnic lunch boxes towards Serengeti
National Park with game viewing along the way. You will arrive for your dinner
and overnight stay at Serengeti Under Canvas by &Beyond
Serengeti National
Park is arguably the best well known wildlife sanctuary in the world. It has
the most spectacular of all game drives including the famous great migration.
The Serengeti covers 14,750 sq km which means there is endless space to find
the Big 5.
Day 5 - Serengeti NP Balloon Safari
In the morning you’ll take an approximately 1 hour hot air balloon for
sunrise and to view the animals from above. This is a wonderful way to see the
park and its wildlife from different perspective. After landing, you’ll enjoy a
champagne breakfast in the bush. Continue the day with game drives in our
safari vehicle. You will have dinner and overnight at Serengeti Under Canvas by &Beyond
Day 6 - On your final day, you’ll enjoy a sunrise game drive in Serengeti. You
will return to camp for breakfast. Your driver will then drive you to Seronera
Airstrip for your mid-morning flight to Zanzibar/Arusha/airport.
