Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park, 130 kilometers drive -two hours
After breakfast at the lodge/hotel, you leave early to the Tarangire
National park for your Northern Tanzania Safari Tours. This is the third
largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large
herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab
trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire
River that flows all year round is the lifeblood of the park. Many
animals; predators and the preys alike gather around the river where you
can do excellent game viewing after game evening drive you back to the Fanaka campsite for dinner and overnight
Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
The breakfast will be at 0600am. Pick up from the Camp at 0700am and
drive to the Great Serengeti National with your Picnic Lunch Packed and
game drives en route via Ngorongoro Crater rim. The Serengeti National
Park the home to lion leopard Elephant Cheetah Buffalo Zebra Wildebeest
Eland Wild dog Gazelles Crocodiles and more. Serengeti is one of the
most comprehensive and appealing internet presentations on nature
conservation and research in general. Every day hundreds of
nature-lovers and tourists from all over the world visit the virtual
Serengeti. In our day it is one of the most famous national parks on
Earth renowned for its magnificent lions but best known for its great
migration. Seronera Nyani campsite.
Day 3: Central Serengeti game drive
After breakfast, you will have a Northern Tanzania Safari game
viewing at Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest
National Park, covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains,
Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and River line forest systems serve
as critical water sources and are often excellent sites for wildlife
viewing. Beyond the heralded migration of wildebeest and zebra, the
Serengeti is best known for its big predators, including cheetah and
Leopard, as well as large pride of Lions and clans of Hyenas and many
animals, dinner and overnight at Seronera Nyani Campsite
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After early in morning breakfast you will have early in the morning
Affordable Northern Tanzania Safari Tours game drive later you will back
to the campsite to have an early hot lunch, our driver and chef will
load everything on top of our safari jeep and you will continue with
game viewing en-route during your way from Serengeti National Park to
Ngorongoro Crater. You will be in Ngorongoro Crater late in the evening
where the night will be spent on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight
will be at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara
This day we will start early morning at 07:00 for the game drive (with a
picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater for 5-6hrs. As very few
animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls,
you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos,
jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species. Your
Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze
you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After great all
exploration in Ngorongoro Crater, we will drive to Fanaka campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Lake Manyara to Arusha
After breakfast the journey to Lake Manyara for your Northern
Tanzania Safari. On the lakeshore, you can also observe elephants,
hippopotami, buffalos, guenons, banded mongooses and numerous types of
gazelles and antelopes. Furthermore, the park is well known for its
tree-climbing lions. Visitors can regularly observe lions taking a nap
in the tree canopies or escaping from the heat on the ground. After
watching the animals and exploring the national park, you leave the park
in the afternoon and travel to the Arusha and Dinner and Overnight at
Hotel.
Day 7: Arusha National park
Depart Arusha in the morning with your private guide and travel to
Arusha National Park, a short 40-minute drive from Arusha town.
The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail
to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie
“Hartari†in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John
Wayne. Your day trip includes a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater,
affectionately known as the “Little Ngorongoroâ€. Buffaloes, waterbucks,
giraffes, warthogs, and zebras can all be seen year-round as well as
many different bird species. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania
give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be
missed.
Later proceed back to Arusha in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel
Day 8: Arusha to Kilimanjaro, Mandara hut
On the first day, you have to drive about 2 hrs through Kilimanjaro in
the morning the semi-tropical foothills to the Marangu area which
situated on the south-eastern side of the mountain. As you drive, there
is usually some admirable view of the snow-capped peak of the mountain.
On arrival at Marangu gate, you meet your team of guides and porters,
pick up any last-minute supplies for the trek, and head to the entrance
of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park to register for the climb. From the
cluster of buildings at the gate, it is some four to five hours walk
through patches of coffee plantation and dense rainforest to Mandara
Hut.
Overnight stay at Venice Hotel At the end of your Tour we will drop you off at the airport.
On the last day of your tour, we will drop you off at the airport.
