Fitz Roy Expediciones was the first outfitter to lead trekking expeditions on the Southern Patagonia Ice Cap. After more than 20 years of operating in South America's trekking and mountaineering capital of El Chalten, it added the Fitz Roy Adventure Camp. The lodge has eight cozy cabins, each with a woodburning stove and private deck. Borrow a mountain bike, canoe, or kayak to explore the region. Then relax by the living room's fireplace, while taking in views of the hulking granite face of 11,171-foot Mount Fitz Roy.
