Accessible only by boat, Abel Tasman's 55,699-acres of granite cliffs, gold-sand beaches, and diverse native forest, including podocarp, rata and fern trees, and beech, occupy the northernmost corner of the South Island. Its crown jewel is the 32-mile Coast Track—considered one of New Zealand's Great Walks. This outfitter leads the only lodge-based trip along 23.6-miles of the track.
