Kay El Bar Ranch in Wickenburg, Arizona, is an affordable and all-inclusive, authentic western dude ranch in the foothills of Arizona's Bradshaw Mountains. An hour from Phoenix and four hours south of the Grand Canyon, our dude ranch has welcomed guests since 1926. The friendly and comfortable atmosphere creates a warm and intimate environment where guests quickly become part of the family. Kay El Bar Ranch surrounds guests with thick walled adobe dwellings where each room is a cowboy postcard of charm, character and comfort. Accommodations include eight rooms in the historic main lodge, a two-bedroom and two-bath one with a sitting area and a fireplace. Expect the best of home cooking, whether it's a candlelit dinner in the hacienda-style dining room or a cookout under the star-studded Arizona sky. Savor meals that include garden crisp vegetables and salads, fresh baked breads and desserts, as well as choice meats, fish and poultry grilled over an open mesquite fire. Ranch offers a full, self-service, bar. Enjoy the authentic western entertainers singing songs and reading cowboy poetry. Take in the scenery of the beautiful Sonoran desert with our guide wranglers or hike on the nearby trails. Back at the ranch, simmer down in a hammock, and enjoy the refreshing swimming pool and the tranquil jacuzzi. Joe and Teri Beattie, ranch owners and managers, would love to welcome you to Wickenburg's Kay El Bar Ranch.
