Howdy from the Tarryall River Ranch and the whole Tesch Family! We know you will have the vacation-of-a-lifetime at the Tarryall River Ranch with our superb food, spectacular riding, outstanding fishing, great kid's programs, fantastic teen program and much more!
Tarryall is a family-run ranch, and from the moment our guests arrive they are drawn back to a simplier place and time of western hospitality and camaraderie.  Tarryall River Ranch is the perfect place to live the west and share in a unique and unforgettable experience that cannot be matched by any other vacation.  We believe Tarryall is exactly what you have been looking for in a Dude Ranch and the perfect destination to experience the West!
Tarryall River Ranch is nestled in the Tarryall Mountains, sprinkled with wildflowers and surrounded by granite spires.
We are located 1 1/2 hours northwest of Colorado Springs, and 2 1/2 hours southwest of Denver.  If you have time, there are many places to go sight-seeing, all within one hours drive from the ranch, such places as Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak to the SE, The Royal Gorge to the SW, Brekenridge to the NW.
We are proud of our first-rate riding and activites, but what makes a Dude Ranch vacation at Tarryall so unique and unmatched is the feelings you experience throughout the week! It is the feelings of making new friends with other guests and the outstanding staff.  It is the bright eyes and big smiles of the children at dinner as they recap their horse ride to "The Secret Fort".  It is the excitement as adults share the experience of their trotting and loping ride that afternoon.  It is the laughter all week long and the teary good-byes Sunday morning.
On no other vacation will you feel so at home, so comfortable, and a part of something so magical!  What is all comes down to in the end are the memories made, and at Tarryall those memories will last a lifetime!

Itinerary

Ranch Dining

Bridget, our daughter-in-law and Head Cook, prepares three exceptional meals everyday served either in the Main Lodge, at the Picnic Area, or down by the Pool.  Everything Bridget cooks and bakes is made with love and from scratch; from fresh breads and muffins every morning to delectable desserts every evening.  In the Lodge, our guests and staff enjoy their meals together family style.
On Tuesday you will enjoy our breakfast ride where we will serve you an authentic cowboy style breakfast.

Ranch Activities

As you will see we have a lot to offer every age and every interest at the Tarryall River Ranch! We offer horseback rides every day. The Children's Programs are excellent! There is a mile and a half of the Tarryall River that offers great Trout Fishing! We also have Team Penning, Trap Shooting, heated Pool and Hot-Tub, Whitewater Rafting, Hiking, and an activity planned every evening - from a cookout and hayride to western dancing. Don't forget to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of Tarryall!
