Ranch Dining

WTR features wide & varied menus weekly: made to order breakfasts, festive cookouts, delicious kids meals, assorted buffets, diverse lunch specials, with plenty of fresh fruit, salads & veggies, plus our lavish Candlelight gourmet dinners.  Hone your appetite with our mouth-watering steak & fish cookouts, succulent Prime Rib, THE best beef, poultry, pork, seafood, lamb, zesty Mexican, vegetarian options & decadent desserts. Special diets accommodated.

Ranch Activities

Our ranch offers myriad activities including:  horseback riding (certified instructors), cattle work & team penning, scenic drive, hiking, fishing, pool, hot tub, watersports on nearby lake, rafting, rodeo, dance lessons, horse-drawn hay rides, campfire music, roping lessons, country dancing with a band, massages, pedicures, spa services & more.  Adult weeks.  Kids programs 3-5, 6-10, preteens & teens.  Frontier Day: archery & gold panning.  Famous Durango Train excursions.


Ranch Lodging

Situated amongst pine, spruce & aspen, our Ponderosa & Cabin Suites are classy, well-appointed hand-built log cabins accommodating families, couples & singles.  Charming country furnishings beckon you to relax, rest, & escape.  All have large decks, coffeemakers, microwaves, refrigerators, irons, ironing boards, hairdryers, & daily cabin service.  Most have wood-burning stoves or gas fireplaces.  Flexibility with Queen, King, double & single beds.  Separate rooms for kids!
