The Nine Quarter Circle Ranch - the place where your family can rough it in comfort at an authentic dude ranch overlooking the northwest corner of Yellowstone Park on the eastern slope of the Continental Divide. Located on the Taylor Fork of the Gallatin River, the family-oriented ranch vacation offers horses to take you on daily rides and fish waiting for your flies to bring them to the surface. You will have so much fun, you will not want to return home. Come enjoy our secluded mountain location at 7,000 feet surrounded by millions of acres of National Forest and the Taylor-Hilgard Wilderness right down the road from our first national park, Yellowstone. The ranch provides a mixed assortment of riding and a select variety of unspoiled trout waters. It is nestled amongst lodge pole pines overlooking the northwest corner of Yellowstone Park on the eastern slope of the Continental Divide. The ranch's history dates back to the 1800s, when it was first homesteaded. The Indians once ran with elk herds here, Jim Bridger rode after buffalo, and Chief Joseph passed through here on his retreat to Canada. The stagecoach lurches no more over the rocky trails, the hunter is gone with his long Bowie knife, but nature's wilderness still remains.

The Kelsey Family - Kim, Kelly, Konnor, Kameron, Kyleen and Kowboy, our dog, welcome you to our historic ranch. We take pride in making this your home in the West for many years to come. Well into the second half century, the Kelsey family continues to take a deep interest in seeing that you enjoy every minute of your visit. We love sharing our life with friends from all over the world. The ranch was settled in the early 1900's and consists of several homesteads. The Butler family from Chicago purchased the ranch in the early part of the century and started the Nine Quarter Circle Ranch, which welcomed its first guests in 1912. Howard Kelsey purchased the ranch in 1945 and the Kelsey family has been inviting people into their home since that time with old-fashioned western hospitality. The Nine Quarter Circle is magical... our guests say that, year after year (and even many years later) it feels like "time stands still" here. Come discover Big Sky Country and completely lose yourself in the glorious environment and unsurpassed mountain beauty that you just have to experience!
