The combination of mountains, sky and water presents nature at it's finest, while the rustic elegance of the individual cabins assures a fresh perspective in mountain hospitality.
With a maximum capacity of just fourteen guests,the Flying A Ranch offers you individual attention like no other guest ranch. The Flying A Ranch takes you not only into the natural beauty of Wyoming, as you would expect from such a high mountain vacation; but into the luxury of well appointed cabins and marvelous cuisine.
The Flying A Ranch wranglers will guide you through cool groves of aspen and pine to view the scenic splendor of the Wyoming mountains and the natural landscape. Horses are assigned to each guest according to the riders ability, and you will have the same horse for the entire duration of your stay.
Fly fishing at the ranch is wonderful. You can fly fish for Rainbow, Brook and Cutthroat trout in any of the ranch's three large stream fed ponds. Your fly fishing lessons and equipment are included, along with a guided trip to the legendary Green River. There are other options, as well, to fish a mountain lake or any of the other rivers and streams that are in our area. You may want to take a guided hike or use one of our mountain bikes to travel through our high mountain meadows. You may just want to view the wildlife. You are likely to see deer, antelope, elk, moose, and possibly a bear. Mountain birding includes both species of Eagle, western bluebirds, osprey, and the ever present Raven.
In addition to all these daytime activities, we also offer evening events such as horseshoes and a campfire on Friday evening. You may just wish to relax on your private porch with a good book, or wind down in our hot tub.
