 The Red Rock Ranch is a family owned and operated Jackson Hole dude ranch located just outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park.  Here you will find a family oriented Wyoming dude ranch vacation destination with a truly relaxed change of pace and the charm of the old west.

    Our outstanding horseback riding program coupled with a truly engaging kids program makes this Jackson Hole dude ranch vacation a memorable experience.  The daily rides will begin on Monday with a proper horse orientation for the beginner riders and a trail refresher for the more advanced.  The orientation will guide the rider through the ins and outs of horseback riding.  Then an afternoon ride to hone your skills.  Tuesdays and Thursdays we offer an all day ride.  Pack a lunch or maybe have a hot lunch cooked out on the trail as you venture far out into the spectacular Gros Ventre Wilderness.  Wednesdays are more geared for family rides.  Start the day off with a hot cowboy breakfast cooked over the open fire, the "cowboy" coffee is not to be missed!!  The afternoon rides are set up for families or for more arena instruction if you need. Friday brings the "Kids Vaulting" demonstration, get your cameras ready !!  Followed by the afternoon family rides or perhaps some cattle work while horseback.  And finish the week at a memorable dinner ride BBQ, served creekside.  The kids awards and a evening ride home in the sunset finish your week here at the ranch.  But Saturday morning does allow for a short ride for those last minute times with your kids furry four footed friend from the week.

    Our kids program is truly the cornerstone of the ranch.  It is all geared around the horse, they learn how to groom, feed, saddle and care for their "friend" for the week.  It is their horse for the week.  Kids that are 6 and older can head out on the trails.  They do 1/2 day rides and all day rides.  Destinations like the "outlaw" cabins and grizzly lake are some of the highlights.  Kids that are 3, 4, and 5 can also be a part of the kids program for the cookouts, vaulting and any games that are going on through out the week.  They also are able to ride, but they are lead, by foot, around the ranch.  The kids program spend an evening back down at the barn to learn, Vaulting, basically gymnastics on a horse.  And they put on a show at the end of the week to demonstrate their horse skills they have learned.  Another evening they are headed down to the river for a dinner cooked over the campfire, games, singing, smores the whole works make it a great night for the kids.  These are the only two nights that the kids are eating seperate from the families.  This allows Mom & Dad to have an excellent Gourmet plated dinner complete with wine service.  Shouldn't Mom & Dad have a vacation as well!!

   And speaking of our exceptional ranch cuisine, from mouth-watering BBQ'S to plated gourmet dinners, home baked breads and desserts await you at the ranch.  This is not your typical dude ranch cuisine.  Although we do offer plenty of the western staples, you will also be treated to some truly spectacular dining.

    After spending the day exploring the wilderness of Wyoming, you will retire to your own private lodging in our richly appointed yet authentic Western log cabins.  They all have private bathrooms, electric heat, mini fridge, coffee makers, reading rooms, inviting covered sun porch and a wood stove.  They have all been recently remodled.

     Other Wyoming Dude Ranch vacation activities include over 2 miles of private blue ribbon fly fishing waters running through the ranch, 4 stocked trout ponds, and a weekly fly fishing clinic.  This is truly a fishermans paradise, the creek has been improved to create a unique fishing habitat.  We limit the fishing pressure to ensure you will have days of memorable casting.

    Miles of scenic hiking trails beckon both the beginning hiker and the more advanced.  We offer a hiking program as well for those wishing not to ride either for the day or for the week.  Hikes will range from the moderate meandering low elevations to the advanced mountain peak destinations.

    We also offer trap shooting for 13 and older, we supply the shotguns and ammunition.  But if you prefer to bring your own gun, please do so.

    Given our wide range of activities, amenities, and conference center, we are a natural venue for family reunions and small corporate groups.
