Nepal is where many of us got serious about our love affair with mountains, with travel, and with the varietal inhabitants of the welcoming world. In A Nepalese Medley, our Michael Steigerwald, Nicole Peelle, and Becca Glatz proudly display this much-loved land in its grand variety, offering everything from Himalayan lodge-tolodge hikes to river rafting to visits to the country’s jungly lowlands, where tigers are still to be seen. These four trip modules are craftily designed to be taken as individual trips, or in one 30-day extravaganza, as each can dovetail into the next seamlessly. Hence, Lodge-to-Lodge Trekking in the (sublime) Annapurna Foothills ends on Day 11 at Pokhara, and the Seti River Float can become Day 12 of a longer trip—or Day 1 of a shorter trip. Michael, Nicole, and Becca are ready to put it all together for you, in whatever form your schedule, ambition, and desire to experience Nepal dictate.
