Seeing some of the last remaining 700 mountain gorillas in the world is a fantastic experience. This safari takes you tracking in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi has four habituated families in the Buhoma area and the gorillas there live in thick tropical forest and tracking is challenging as the hillsides are steep. You can also go for nature walks to see birds, monkeys and orchids. Accommodations are in a comfortable eco-lodge with solar power and en suite bathrooms. This driving safari begins and ends in Kigali, Rwanda.
