DAYS 1 & 2

Lima, Peru

Arrive in Lima and visit the city’s colonial heart. Visit Enrico Poli’s private collection of rare Peruvian and pre-Columbian art at the Larco-Herrera Museum. La Paz & Coroico

Today, make your way to la Paz, high on Bolivia’s altiplano. On the way, stop to see the ruins of Tiwanaku, one of the oldest civilizations of the Americas, and drive through the valley of the Moon, filled with rock formations, which have been formed over thousands of years of erosion. Out of la Paz, visit the colonial town of Callamarca and view a collection of angel paintings, the most important of the Americas. The scenic ride is one of the highlights of the day. Return to your hotel in la Paz for a festive cocktail party and farewell dinner.
