DAYS 1 – 4

Johannesburg, South Africa

Arrive in Johannesburg on Day 2 and discover its fascinating historical heritage. Get to know the city’s landmarks, take a guided tour of the Soweto Township and visit a resident’s home, and visit the Apartheid Museum. Then venture out of town for an exploration of South Africa’s capital, Pretoria, and a special visit to the Ann Van Dyk Cheetah Centre.

Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve

Fly to a wilderness lodge in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Your game drives are conducted in open four-wheel drive vehicles, from which you may spot lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffaloes, as well as cheetahs, giraffes and zebras. Shangaan trackers and trained rangers guide you through the unspoiled reserve. Evening drives with powerful spotlights bring the nocturnal bush to life.

Plettenberg Bay

One of the loveliest coastlines in Africa is home to The Plettenberg, your five-star home for the next two nights. You’ll visit one of several local wildlife sanctuaries and then embark on a stunning cruise through the Keurbooms River Nature Reserve.

DAY 10

Oudtshoorn

Immerse yourself in the wild history of South Africa with an exclusive visit to one of the ostrich farms that made this area the ostrich capital of the world. While here, stay in style at the elegant, historic Rosenhof Country House.

DAYS 11 – 15

Cape Town

Scenic Cape Town is dramatically located at the foot of majestic Table Mountain, which you’ll ascend by aerial cableway. Visit the picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay and venture through beautiful Cape Point Nature Reserve to the very tip of Africa, the Cape of Good Hope. Then travel into the heart of wine country for a private tasting and estate tour before returning for a farewell dinner at a private home. Depart Cape Town on Day 14, arriving home the following day.
