Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Tozeur at the Dar Cherait Hotel.  A four star hotel, the Dar Cherait Hotel offers civilized conveniences in traditional Tunisian luxury.  Enjoy the hotel’s gardens, terraces, swimming pool and spa before we embark on our journey.

Day 2

Drive to the Oasis Zafrane at the edge of the desert.  Here, you will spend your first night in the desert and get to know your Bedouin guides (and camels).  Dinner around the fire will be followed by music, singing and stories.

Day 3- 6

Enjoy the languor of the days as you take in the desert.  Walking or riding on camels, we will stop every night in a different place.  This is a chance for you to tune in to your own natural rhythms in a place that frees your spirit and psyche.

Day 7-8

A chance to gather in one place or to be alone for a night or two, within range of camp.  Your guides may introduce you to other nomadic desert dwellers.  You will have a chance to fully immerse in the peace and tranquility of the Sahara.

Day 9-14

Begin to return home, by way of a different course.  The endless stars, powerful sunsets and unforgiving sunrises will by now have entered your bloodstream!

Day 15

Depart for home.
