Itinerary
Day 1 The Valley
The Valley is the capital of the British territory of Anguilla, and part of the Antilles Islands. A favorite vacation spot of water lovers, Anguilla is a popular destination for wreck diving, snorkelling, or parasailing. The historic district of The Valley is full of old-style wood houses, including the Wallblake House, one of the only surviving plantation houses in the Caribbean. The ruins of the Old Prison are at the highest point in Anguilla, and provide stunning views of the bright blue sea.
Enjoy a personal welcome at the Wallblake airport before you are taken on the 15 minute drive to the Mallihouana Hotel & Spa.
Enjoy the complimentary on site activities available at Malliouhana hotel including fitness and gym facilities, water sports and recreational facilities such as snorkeling, water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing (Sunfish, Lasers and Prindle catamarans), 3 fresh-water pools and 1 heated outdoor Jacuzzi. Take a snorkelling trip on a privately owned motor boat to a deserted bay, (complimentary masks, snorkels and fins are provided), avail of complimentary snorkelling and fishing gear, practice your swing with the on site tennis professional on one of the 4 championship tennis courts with night lights, or have fun on the a half-court basketball. For kids, there is a children’s outdoor playground on the beach which includes a large pirate ship and a 60 foot water slide.
Sprawled over 25 acres and a mile long beach, and dramatically perched on a bluff overlooking the ocean, the 55 room Malliouhana Hotel & Spa's distinctive ambiance reflects a blend of Mediterranean design, French Riviera style combined with a relaxed Anguillian smile. Day 2 The Valley
Enjoy some time relaxing on one of the three beaches located by the Mallihouana Hotel and Spa. Meads Bay beach with its pristine white sand is 1 mile in length while Turtle Cove is 1/3 mile in length. Bobbing Cove is adjacent to Meads Bay beach and allows for great panoramic views.
The extensive menu at the Malliouhana Restaurant offers mouthwatering dishes blending Caribbean, French and Mediterranean cuisines all conjured up by 2 star Michelin Restaurateur Michel Rostang together with Head Chef Alain Laurent. The beach side lunchtime restaurant, Le Bistro reflects this same standard in lighter fare. In keeping with the resort’s elegantly casual style, no jackets and ties are required in the main restaurant where guests enjoy French cuisine with Caribbean flair and subtle Mediterranean touches in a menu designed by 2 Michelin Star Chef, Michel Rostang and Head Chef Alain Laurent. The extensive menu changes three to four times a year while still maintaining a selection of the popular Malliouhana “classics” such as Roasted whole lobster with basil butter sauce and grilled duck fois gras with artichoke puree and port wine sauce. Meals at Malliouhana are complimented with the treasures to be found in the wine cellar. The 25,000 bottle wine cellar is the largest in the Caribbean and holds the Wine Spectator Grand Award, an accolade that it has garnered every year in succession since 1999.

Day 3 The Valley
The purpose built, ocean front Spa is the biggest available on Anguilla, measuring 15,000 sq. ft. Providing European standards wrapped up in Caribbean sunshine, the Spa offers an extensive menu of spa services including Swedish therapeutic massage, deep tissue massages, stone therapy, reflexology and lymphatic drainage massages. Guests may also choose from a substantial menu of body polishes, body wraps, facials and Ultra Bath treatments. Skin care products used are from Sothy’s of Paris and body care products, extracted from natural marine ingredients, are by Phytomer of France. Three Private oceanfront spa suites designed to offer the “spa within a spa” experience are available for half or full day rental. Housed within the Spa building is a full service unisex Salon offering cuts, styling, color services and intensive hair treatments plus manicures and pedicures. Guests may take advantage of the exercise room located within the spa featuring the latest Life Fitness cardio, strength, toning and stretching equipment plus Cybex weight machines. Also available are men’s and women’s sauna and steam room, lockers and showers and an outdoor whirlpool. Services of personal trainers are also available as well as classes in Yoga, Chi-Gung and Aerobics.

Day 4 The Valley
Consider exploring today on the hotel's 40ft motor boat to a deserted bay and spend the day snorkeling and relaxing on deck. For fishing enthusiasts, consider a private fishing charter for the day which can be arranged on hotel’s private boat. If you have a PADI diving license, scuba instructors and dive masters are located nearby. If you feel like doing some independent exploring, car hire is also available. At 35 sq. miles, the island of Anguilla is very compact and easy to explore. The Valley, the islands main town is worth checking out - particularly the historic district which is full of old-style wood houses, including the Wallblake House, one of the only surviving plantation houses in the Caribbean. The ruins of the Old Prison are at the highest point in Anguilla, and provide stunning views of the bright blue sea.
