"Just wanted to thank you. We are back from Costa Rica and had a wonderful trip. Everything worked really well, on time and we had really good time. Also, I wanted to comment on your contacts in Costa Rica- they were very responsive, helped solve problems on the spot and it was very reassuring to have them there."

  • Reviewer: Nita Duncan, 2009 located in Egypt & Ancient Lands

"For any single traveling woman - no fear! I, a single 61 year old female, traveled through Egypt & Jordan with absolutely no fear or concern for my safety. Not because I am brave but because there was no external cause for fear. The representatives who met me at the airports, the guides (especially Sam), and the drivers were all wonderful and very informative. The tour was first class and I would love to take another with Kinsington Tours and will recommend them to all my friends."

  • Reviewer: Marie, 2009 located in Asia

"We are back and we had a wonderful trip. Everything was perfectly organized, with the right balance between time with a guide and free time. We were very lucky with the weather, no rain at all except for a 20 minutes thunderstorm in Dalat. Halong Bay was very clear all the time although it is supposed to be foggy during the day. The Metropole was perfect, the best breakfasts ever, the boat, Jasmine, wonderful and we were only 14 people instead of 44…,the Palm Garden in Hoi An very nice, the Ana Mandara in Nha Trang, pure Heaven, the Sofitel in Dalat beautiful, almost empty and a very friendly staff."

Day 1 The Valley

The Valley is the capital of the British territory of Anguilla, and part of the Antilles Islands. A favorite vacation spot of water lovers, Anguilla is a popular destination for wreck diving, snorkelling, or parasailing. The historic district of The Valley is full of old-style wood houses, including the Wallblake House, one of the only surviving plantation houses in the Caribbean. The ruins of the Old Prison are at the highest point in Anguilla, and provide stunning views of the bright blue sea.

Enjoy a personal welcome at the Wallblake airport before you are taken on the 15 minute drive to the Mallihouana Hotel & Spa.

Enjoy the complimentary on site activities available at Malliouhana hotel including fitness and gym facilities, water sports and recreational facilities such as snorkeling, water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing (Sunfish, Lasers and Prindle catamarans), 3 fresh-water pools and 1 heated outdoor Jacuzzi. Take a snorkelling trip on a privately owned motor boat to a deserted bay, (complimentary masks, snorkels and fins are provided), avail of complimentary snorkelling and fishing gear, practice your swing with the on site tennis professional on one of the 4 championship tennis courts with night lights, or have fun on the a half-court basketball. For kids, there is a children’s outdoor playground on the beach which includes a large pirate ship and a 60 foot water slide.

Sprawled over 25 acres and a mile long beach, and dramatically perched on a bluff overlooking the ocean, the 55 room Malliouhana Hotel & Spa's distinctive ambiance reflects a blend of Mediterranean design, French Riviera style combined with a relaxed Anguillian smile. It is a member of Small Leading Hotels of the World and was the recipient of Best Resort in the Caribbean Award in the 2004 and 2006 Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Survey, and listed on the Gold List since 2005. The owner's vision was to blend the finest elements of leading European hotels with the warmth and relaxation of the Caribbean. The hotel has a staff ratio of four per room, two per guest and the goal is to offer guests total relaxation and quiet privacy. The hotel has enormous rooms (the smallest, at 720 sq. ft.) all with covered balcony or terrace, and expansive suites that nestle in the gardens, on the beaches, or tiptoe up the bluff.

Day 2 The Valley

Enjoy some time relaxing on one of the three beaches located by the Mallihouana Hotel and Spa. Meads Bay beach with its pristine white sand is 1 mile in length while Turtle Cove is 1/3 mile in length. Bobbing Cove is adjacent to Meads Bay beach and allows for great panoramic views.

The extensive menu at the Malliouhana Restaurant offers mouthwatering dishes blending Caribbean, French and Mediterranean cuisines all conjured up by 2 star Michelin Restaurateur Michel Rostang together with Head Chef Alain Laurent. The beach side lunchtime restaurant, Le Bistro reflects this same standard in lighter fare. In keeping with the resort’s elegantly casual style, no jackets and ties are required in the main restaurant where guests enjoy French cuisine with Caribbean flair and subtle Mediterranean touches in a menu designed by 2 Michelin Star Chef, Michel Rostang and Head Chef Alain Laurent. The extensive menu changes three to four times a year while still maintaining a selection of the popular Malliouhana “classics” such as Roasted whole lobster with basil butter sauce and grilled duck fois gras with artichoke puree and port wine sauce. Meals at Malliouhana are complimented with the treasures to be found in the wine cellar. The 25,000 bottle wine cellar is the largest in the Caribbean and holds the Wine Spectator Grand Award, an accolade that it has garnered every year in succession since 1999.
