The Republic of Seychelles comprises 115 islands occupying 1.4 million km² in the western Indian Ocean, almost on the equator. Of these 115 islands, 41 constitute the oldest granite islands on earth while a further 74 form the low-lying coral atolls and reef islands of the Outer Islands. It is an archipelago of legendary beauty, in pristine solitude, 480km from the east coast of Africa. Seychelles’ enviable climate is always warm and without extremes. In this tropical haven the temperature seldom drops below 24°C or rises above 32°C. All but the remotest southern islands lie comfortably outside the cyclone belt making Seychelles’ a year round destination for sun worshippers and beach lovers. Seychelles is famous for having some of the best beaches in the world, pristine and uncrowded. Some are framed by age-old granite boulders. Others offer powder-soft sands, turquoise waters and sublime opportunities for swimming, snorkelling or pure relaxation. You will also find proud national monuments, beautiful Creole houses, artists' studios, national reserves and marine parks, as well as breathtaking natural wonders above and beneath the waves.

    "We are back and we had a wonderful trip. Everything was perfectly organized, with the right balance between time with a guide and free time. We were very lucky with the weather, no rain at all except for a 20 minutes thunderstorm in Dalat. Halong Bay was very clear all the time although it is supposed to be foggy during the day. The Metropole was perfect, the best breakfasts ever, the boat, Jasmine, wonderful and we were only 14 people instead of 44…,the Palm Garden in Hoi An very nice, the Ana Mandara in Nha Trang, pure Heaven, the Sofitel in Dalat beautiful, almost empty and a very friendly staff."

Itinerary

Day 1 Mahe

Mahé is the largest island (155 km²) of the Seychelles, lying in the north east of the nation. The population of Mahé is 80,000. It contains the capital city of Victoria and has 90% of the country's total population. The island was named after Mahé de La Bourdonnais, a governor of Mauritius. Mahé's tallest peak is Morne Seychellois at 905 m, which lies in the Morne Seychellois National Park. The northern and eastern parts of the island are home to much of the population and the international airport which opened in 1971. The southern and western parts have Baie Ternay Marine National Park and Port Launay Marine National Park.

You will meet at the airport by an english speaking representative with name sign as you exit the arrival lounge.   Be greeted with refreshing towel and mineral water, arrival gift and welcome pack containing your itinerary, a map of the Seychelles, and an excursion brochure.  Your representative will provide you with personalised assistance during your stay and fast track you through immigration.
