Itinerary
Day 1 Pokhara
Pokhara is 198 km west of Kathmandu, and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. In no other place do mountains rise so quickly. In this area, within 30 km, the elevation rises from 1000 m to over 7500 m. The Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu ranges, each with peaks over 8000 m, can be seen from Pokhara and there is a lake named Phewa Lake, three caves (Mahendra, Bat and Gupteswor) and an impressive falls (Patale Chhango or Devi's Falls) where the water from the Phewa Lake thunders into a hole and disappears.

Follow trails through oak and rhododendron forest where the sound of the bird calls fill the air and camp in serene locations that afford magnificent views of the Annapurna range. Pokhara is situated 200km from kathmandu and which is very famous for beautiful lakes with panoramic views of Annapurna ranges. Phewa lake is its main attraction .The routes in this Area do cover some of the most beautiful villages and offer some of the finest mountain views in Nepal. Day 2 Pokhara
Drive to Nayapul from you hotel in Pokhara and walk to Birenthati (1037m). Trek to Tirkhedhunga (1494m). It is one-hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and a short walk to Birenthati (1037m) situated on the Modi River. The trail ascends and reaches Tirkhedhunga in about 3 and half hour walk.

Day 3 Pokhara
Ascend the steep steps for about 2 hours to Ulleri (2012m). Continue climbing from Ulleri another 2 hours walk to lunch stop at Nyathanti. The climb continues on through wet temperate forests of oak and rhododendron until Ghorepani. Camp side is about 10 minutes walk form Ghorepani. Depending upon weather and physical condition it is recommended to make an hour climb to Poon Hill (3100m) for a panoramic view of Annapurna range. From Ghorepani there is a spectacular view of Dhaulagiri & Annapurna.

Day 4 Pokhara
Leave Ghorepani after having magnificent views from Poon Hill. From Ghorepani you leave the main trail that leads you to Jomsom/Muktinath, and instead walk to Tadapani, which is fairly easy. Some parts of the trail are slippery during December and January. Decend to Ghandrung.

Day 5 Pokhara
From Ghandrung it is a steep descent on a stone staircase down to the Modi Khola and then climb about to Landrung (1610m). The trail then ascends very gradually through meadows to Tolka. From Tolka the trail climbs up to a pass and then descends very gradually to Pothana. From Pothana it is about 1-hour walk down to Dhampus

Day 6 Pokhara
