Spend the first part of you safari in the world famous Masia Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Guest will have an opportunity to see the extreme game in this hugely diverse environment. Then you fly to the Swahili coast to stay on Manda Island. This area is famous for outstanding ocean fishing. You can have the talented chefs prepare your daily catch for an open air dinner on the beach.

Day 1
Nairobi, Kenya

Your flight arries in Nairobi, Kenya. Your driver will be waiting in Arrivals to transfer you to your hotel.

Located in the Karen neighborhood, just 20 minutes from the heart of Nairobi. Macushla House in a short drive will take you to Kazuri Beads Workshop, Utamuduni Crafts for Conservation and Daphne Sheldrick's orphanage, home to numerous orphaned elephant and rhino, as well as the Karen Blixen Museum.

Days 2 — 5
Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

You will meet your driver after breakfast and transfer to Nairobi Wilson Airport to meet your schedule flight into the Masai Mara NR. On arrival, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to camp.

Originally built as the Roberts' family home while carrying out conservation work in the Masai Mara, Richard's Camp is a small and exclusive tented camp. Closed in April, May & November.

Days 6 — 9
Lamu Island, Kenya

Today, you transition to the fishing and beach mecca of the Kenyan Coast. You take a scheduled flight from the Mara to Lamu via Nairobi Wilson Airport. When you arrive, your Manda Bay porter will escort you to the boat launch to transfer to Manda Island.

Manda Bay Resort is a small, private lodge on Manda Island in northern Kenya's Lamu Kiwayu archipelago. With magnificent coral gardens, empty beaches and indigenous woodlands, Manda Bay Resort is a glorious destination for both active and leisurely holidays. Closed from the middle of April through the middle of July.

Day 10
Depart

Time to shake out the sand and make ready for the journey home. You will take a scheduled flight from Lamu back to Nairobi. On arrival, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to a restaurant of your choice for dinner (settled direct). Then you will transfer to the airport to meet your departure flight.
