Come climb in beautiful Northern Italy. We will ascend Gran Paradiso (13,323'), the highest glacier climb in Italy. Next we will visit the Dolomites for some rock instruction and classic, fun climbs on "Via Ferratta" routes.

The climbing is all pre-protected with anchors, ladders and fixed cables. We will attempt two of the best known peaks, the Marmolada (the highest peak in the Dolomites), and Cima Brenta.

No previous rock climbing skills are required. The climbing is non-technical, but exposed and exhilarating. The trip starts and finishes in Milan. Bring along a pair of rock shoes if you like, and we will try some harder one-pitch sport climbs and practice sessions during our off time. This trip is a great introduction to rock climbing in one of the most beautiful climbing ranges in the world.

Join us on this fun vacation suitable for all levels of climbers. A great trip for non-climbing spouses as well.
