The largest animal in the world at 100 feet in length and up to 140 tons. With less than 11,000 remaining in the world, few people experience the thrill of seeing them. A baby blue whale is about the size of an adult Gray Whale! We also expect to see many Fin Whales. The 2nd largest animal in the world. At about 70 to 85 feet these are really big animals too. If dolphins get you excited, you will be in for a real thrill should we happen upon a pod of 200 to 1000 dolphins. We also expect to see humpback whales, sperm whales and more. Last year we had wonderful views of a humpback as it dived and swam near us. Part of the adventure on this trip is not knowing just which animal we will come upon next. There are birds by the thousands and fish by the millions. And of course having the opportunity to do some beachcombingand snorkeling while we eat lunch each day on a deserted island is just an added bonus.

Itinerary
Day #1: We meet you upon your arrival at the Loreto, Baja California Sur Airport and your adventure begins. Dinner tonight will feature traditional Mexican food as well as mariscos (Mexican sea food).
Day #2, 3 & 4: Breakfast is at 7:00 am. We arrive at the dock at 8:00 am in anticipation of a GREAT day of whale watching. We expect to see whales almost anytime after we have left the harbor, although in 75% of our trips we don't begin finding whales until we have motored 30 to 40 minutes south.
Lunch is usually eaten on a deserted island near our whale watching location. Following our late lunch we usually begin to head north again toward the harbor, frequently finding more whales along the way home.
There are usually 2 or 3 hours of free time in the afternoon before we meet for dinner.
Day #5: Today is departure day. Breakfast is our last group meal together. We'll transfer you from the hotel to the airport for your flight home.
