The Broken Island Group, located off the west coast of Vancouver Island is an absolute paddler's paradise. The archipelago is made up of approximately 100 islands and forms part of the Pacific Rim National Park. Expect pristine whitesand beaches, gnarled and twisted storm swept trees, rocky outcrops and giant tidepools filled with bright purple and orange starfish. Wildlife sightings are frequent in this area from bald headed eagles soaring above to playful sea lions, porpoises and with some luck Orcas swimming below. This trip is ideal for both experienced and novice paddlers.

Itinerary
Day 1: Port Alberni
Meet in Port Alberni: Vancouver Island, British Columbia @ 5pm on Sunday.
Day 2 - 6: Port Alberni to Broken Island Group (Sea Kayaking)
8am Passage down the Alberni Inlet. Arrive in the Broken Group Islands at 9:30am, pack boats & start paddling. Kayak for 4 nights and 5 days exploring the Broken Group Islands. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Broken Island Group to Port Alberni (Sea Kayaking)
Depart Broken Group Islands at 3pm and arrive in Port Alberni at 7pm on Friday. Accommodation at B&B.
Day 7: Port Alberni
Trip ends Friday morning after breakfast. (B).
