Day 1 ~ Arrive in Venice, Italy
Arrive in Venice, take our private airport transfer to Cortina d’Ampezzo, and check in to your hotel. Meet with your guide in the afternoon for a trip briefing.

Day 2 ~ Bike to Val Pusteria or Hike Below Punta Sorapis
Today you have your choice between a bicycling or hiking excursion out of Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Bike on wide gravel bike path to the towns of Dobbiaco and San Candido in Val Pusteria on the border with Austria. The 36 kilometer (22 miles) can be cycled without any major effort and is ideal for families with children. Lunch in any of the South Tyrolean towns and return either by bike or by bus.

Hike along a varied loop route that leads to a lovely hut set below towering Punta Sorapiss. This route guarantees extensive views over neighboring Dolomites, combined with good chances of spotting wild chamois mountain goats. Unlike the rugged rocky heart of the Sorapiss which soars to 3,205m (10,515'), dominating the resort township of Cortina d'Ampezzo, the northernmost edge of the group is accessible to the average walker.

Day 3 ~ Cinque Torri – Nuvolao – Via Ferrata Averau
In the morning, transfer and hike to the base of the imposing Cinque Torre, a group of five famous stone pinnacles. With your guide, you'll experience the thrill of climbing a via ferrata to the top of Averau massif. After lunch, explore the bunkers built by the soldiers during WWI, or hike to the top of Nuvolao massif to enjoy the breathtaking panoramas.
Tonight you'll experience a stay at a family run Rifugio – an opportunity not to be missed in the Dolomites!

Day 4 ~ World War I Tunnels
Today we'll hike to Passo Falzarego, and on to our next rifugio that you'll call home for the evening. From here we'll explore World War I tunnels built into the hillside. This evening, you'll surely marvel at breathtaking sunset and quietness of the mountains.

Day 5 ~ Alta Badia
After breakfast hike to Rifugio Scotoni (1,985m / 6,512') and descend to Capanna Alpina (1,726m / 5,663'). From here, you'll take a short transfer to the start of the cable car to Piz Sorega. With the cable car you arrive on the high plateau of Pralongia that offers many hiking possibilities for every type of hiker, and many mountain inns where the children can relax and play. After lunch hike down to your luxury hotel, complete with spa and swimming pool.

Day 6 ~ Sella Massif: Via Ferrata Col dei Bos – Hike to Piz Boe
With your UIAGM/IFMGA mountain guide, experience the thrill of a via ferrata or hike on the Sella massif up to the top of Piz Boe. Regardless of which option you choose, you'll delight in remarkable views of the Marmolada glacier, Dolomites’ highest peak.

Day 7 ~ Santa Croce Sanctuary
Indulge in a hearty alpine breakfast before hiking to Santa Croce Sanctuary. Walk through forest and green pastures to a typical Ladino shepherd’s house for lunch. Taste local specialties such as turtres (Ladino vegetable pastries), grilled vegetables, and homemade cakes. Spend the afternoon relaxing at your hotel's swimming pool with the kids.
