Volunteer 15 hours each week in exchange for free room and board in Turkey!  Weekends are normally free to experience the culture by traveling around Turkey.  Conversation Corps volunteers are placed in Istanbul, Izmir and Adana.

Istanbul is in the Northwest having coasts on Marmara and the Black Sea. Izmir is West on the coast of the Agean across from the Greek Islands.  Adana is South, 40 min. drive from the Mediterranean.

This is a great program for people who want to experience life in Turkey and the Turkish culture in-depth.  The program has a focus on cultural exchange and host families are not only excited to learn English but also love to share the characteristics of their country, culture and cuisine.

The Conversation Corps logo. This is a high-energy and really fun position.  GeoVisions provides the materials; you provide the personality to liven up a family class or dinner conversation!  Find out first-hand how a Turkish family lives day-to-day.  Sometimes there are opportunities to take part in family activities and to meet extended family.  Plus, they can show you landmarks and the hidden gems of Turkey.
