This is a swift trip up the west coast of the North Island. Its the best quick bus tour from Wellington to Auckland as we stil get the chance to enjoy Waitomo caves, a lovely camp site and all the fun and adventure that comes with every Flying Kiwi trip. If you have the time you can always add a Beach It trip around the Bay of Islands to the end of your trip.

Itinerary

POINT 26 Spend the morning with time to
explore Wellington’s cafes, shops and
museums when we arrive. We head off
around lunchtime for Taranaki and just short
of the surf highway. Our campsite tonight is a
great camp surrounded by estuary and native
bush. U no meals

POINT 27 An early start for Waitomo caves -
a limestone wonderland created by erosion
over millions of years. Optional blackwater
rafting or some excellent walks and glowworms
galore. We then head to Auckland for a
taste of big city life “kiwi style” B/L
