The trek starts from Arsu which is a fine walk of somewhat around three hrs. Sarahan is three km below the pass situated on the crest of the hill from here a beautiful view of Srikhand Mahadev peak which is of mythological significance and is said to be the one of the abode of Lord Shiva can be seen. Further the trek is extended to Bashleo pass (3,250m) after Bashleo it is all the steep down to Bathad from this tiny village the trail rises into higher hill through the thick forest of oak and chestnut by afternoon one can reach the lovely campsite of Shoja. The next destination of this trek is over the Jalori Pass (3,136m) which ends at Sreolsar Lake, a place which is granted to be appreciated. From lake a gradual walk offers magnificent view of the hills, the campsite of taral is reached with the beautiful rest house nestling among the woods. From Taral the trail gains height and passes through thick forest here one can see variety of bird life and chances of spotting the Himalayan brown bear and mohal pheasants are quite good. The Himalayan langurs (apes) are a common sight. The campsite of Margi is an ideal spot. Leaving the lovely campsite of Margi is a long day’s walk and later part can become a trifle hot since there is a lack of forest cover, but the surrounding scenery more than make for the heat. The last destination in the trek is a small town of Dalash famous for its apple orchards.

We had a great time at Camp wild yesterday. The team had fun enjoying the Para sailing and Zorbing and other field
games like Cricket and Volleyball. Your staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. The food was great as well
and we left with a great feel.

I think we will be looking at your organization to plan out some further events in the near future as well.

On behalf of NetCarrots Loyalty Services, I would like to thank you for giving us a wonderful time at Camp Wild. It was indeed an invigorating experience and needless to say, our entire staff had a great time. Though the day began fairly late for us due to a longer route, what was important was that we spent quality time together. The activities were very interesting and most importantly, solved the purpose of us being there in the first place - team building.

The service was great and the activities were very well organized. We would especially like to thank Mohnish for being so patient with us!!
We had an enjoyable experience at Camp Wild and hope we can make this a regular feature for our staff.
    Regards

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Narkanda (Dinner)

Day 02: Narkanda – Kullu Sarahan (6 hrs drive)
After descending from Narkanda, just before Rampur Bushahar, we turn right where a track branches right and crosses a bridge over the Satluj river. The track divides; take the right-hand branch climbing steadily through open countryside then through pine woods. After crossing Arsu-Sarahan (2440m) 13km - The trail descends for a while through sparsely wooded slopes before rising gradually. Then it goes down again to the Kurpan Gad, crosses a river bridge and climbs steeply to Sarahanm a beautiful and typical village with a temple dedicated to sage Shring. The rest house is situated outside the village and is picturesquely perched on a ledge with a view of the pass. Overnight in tents (B/f, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 03: Sarahan – over Bashleo Pass - Bathad (1997m) 13km (4hrs trek start)
The most strenuous section, starting with a pleasant, almost level walk of about 1.5km before climbing steeply. The trail passes through dense oak forest to attain the pass in some 5km from Sarahan. The descent is a big height loss of 1300m, very steep and through thick forests and patches of green meadows. Bathad is a small village and the PWD rest house is situated high up overlooking the Palachan Gad. A bus runs from here via Banjar to Aut on the main Mandi-Kullu highway. Overnight in tents (B/f, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 04: Bathad - Shoja (4hrs trek) (B/f, Lunch, Dinner)
Streams joining the river at Jibhi & Giyagi offer spectacular landscapes dotted with small grain grinding huts. After Giyagi, the access to Shoja winds through thick forests of alpine trees, which provide an untouched Habitat to various species of flora & fauna. On arrival at Shoja, the landscape opens up into beautiful terraced fields followed by rolling meadows of wild flowers. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure at the camp.
