Day 1 SANTIAGO – TRES VALLES You’ll arrive at the Santiago International Airport in the morning. Your guide will be waiting to whisk you off to your first destination to begin your Chile travel, just a 45-minute drive into the Andes. The village of Farellones lies at the center of three famed resorts, El Colorado, La Parva and Valle Nevado. After getting settled at your hotel where you’ll spend the next three nights, your driver will get you to the slopes without delay for your first afternoon of skiing at whichever of the three ski areas you choose. After dinner at your lodgings, the evening is yours to relax and get acquainted with your idyllic surroundings. (D)

Day 2-3 SKIING TRES VALLES For the next two days, your Chile tours will consist of a choice of runs for your skiing or boarding pleasure at the Tres Valles resorts. All three offer powder snow conditions, hills for all abilities, restaurants and nightlife. This is the largest ski area in South America with 575 acres of groomed trails at El Colorado, 375 acres at La Parva and 325 acres at Valle Nevado. You’ll return to your hotel in Farellones for dinner and have evenings free. (B,D)
Day 4 TRES VALLES – LOS ANDES

After breakfast and one last morning on the Tres Valles slopes, you’ll head north to Los Andes for an equally unique ski/boarding experience at South America’s best known resort, El Portillo. With twenty-three trails, twelve lifts and a vertical drop of almost 6,000 feet, this resort attracts ski racers to practice and compete. The resort offers runs for all abilities. Your spacious lodging for the next three nights, with breakfasts and dinners included, is the relaxing Casa San Regis hacienda. On the way there, you’ll stop at a local winery to taste some great regional wines. After checking-in at the hotel, the day and evening are yours to enjoy this authentic Chile style mountain experience. (B,D)
Day 5 SKI PORTILLO Another great day of skiing or boarding in this picturesque Andean wonderland on your Chile travel. Some may wish to take a break from the slopes, enjoy a burger at Tio Bob’s and bask in the sunshine. If black diamond runs and 45-degree powder slopes are your idea of fun, you may prefer to explore the backcountry off Roca Jack. (B,D)
Day 6-7 ARPA SKI ADVENTURE – SANTIAGO – HOME You’ll spend your last two days of Chile tours in the scenic setting of Ski Arpa, where from the summit, the Pacific is visible on one side, and Mt. Aconcagua, the Western Hemisphere’s highest peak, may be seen on the other. Offering a vertical drop of 3,500 ft and intermediate but mostly advanced runs, here you’ll ski or board from South America’s only Snow-cat operation, accompanied by local, expert mountain-guides and have the mountain all to yourself. On the last day of your stay in paradise, you’ll be able to get in some skiing before departing for Santiago to catch your international flight home. (B)
