Using specially adapted 4 x 4 vehicles with informative safari guides you head out for 3 days game viewing to 3 of Tanzania's game areas - Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro. For those that are short of time or intend to extend there safari further afield, this safari makes perfect sense! There are also short hiking options to stretch the legs post or pre climb.

Itinerary

DAY 1
ARUSHA

After breakfast you are given a short briefing before you head out to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunches. Famous for it's tree climbing lions and elephant populations, Manyara has a wide array of habitats from open plains to cool ground water forest. A perfect introduction to game in East Africa! In the late afternoon you head up to your lodge for dinner.

Overnight Ngorongoro Farm House (full board)

DAY 2
ARUSHA

Today an early start is required to head into the world famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Famed for it's dramatic game filled crater, today is ideal for game viewing and excellent photography. In the afternoon you head back out of the 2000 feet deep crater back to your lodge for dinner.

DAY 3
ARUSHA

After breakfast you head on to Tarangire National Park armed with picnic lunches. Tarangire is home to a wide variety of game from elephant to leopard. In the early afternoon you head back to Arusha for any last minute shopping before transferring to KIA Lodge for a day room to freshen up pre departure. On this day you can also connect with flights to other locations such as Zanzibar or further afield.
