Day 0 (-/-/-) Depart Miami for Lima

Our journey to the mystical land of Peru begins in Miami by boarding our late night non-stop international flight.

Day 1 (-/l/d) Lima, Cusco & the Sacred Valley

Early morning arrival in Lima, connect with our flight to Cuzco, capital of the Incan Empire located high in the Andes Mountains. We will be met by our Peruvian guide then board our private bus for a scenic drive to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This will be a slow and relaxing day giving us time to acclimate to the higher altitude and adjust to our Andean Mountain surroundings. We’ll have 3 days to explore and experience the sacred sites of this beautiful valley. Overnight at the Hotel Agusto Urubamba (9360 ft)

Day 2 (b/l/d) Sacred Valley

Today we’ll go to visit the sacred terraces of Moray where there are four huge natural depressions that have been sculpted into deep terraces. These circles represent for us the Cosmic Spiral, and we work with the energy of this place to connect with the womb of the Mother Earth (Pachamama). Time to do a ceremony in order to offer something to her and asking permission to be there.

After lunch we travel through the Sacred Valley, with its breathtaking vistas of the Urubamba River to Ollantaytambo (City of Dawn) an incredible ancient Inca city. We will walk in this original Incan town, visit the main altars and temples dedicated to the power animals of the Andean world. Two hundred steps lead up terraces to a double-jamb gateway and the Temple of Ten Niches, a long wall with odd protuberances. Above this is the unfinished Temple of the Sun, considered one of the masterpieces of Inca stonework. Six giant monoliths of pink rhyolite are perfectly slotted together with thin slices of stone and oriented to glow with the rising sun. At Ollantaytambo we will discover the surprising Astronomical Watcher, which lies under the Tunupa’s glance (Part of the Wiraccochan myth) who is sculpted on stone in part of the Pinkuylluna mountain in front of the archaeological complex. Day 3 (b/l/d) Sacred Valley

Today we’ll visit the ruins and market of Pisac. This market has evolved into one of the biggest, artesania markets in all of South America. It begins every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 9 a.m. The town’s main square is filled wall-to-wall with stalls selling the full range of Peruvian felt hats, alpaca sweaters and blankets, carved gourds, ceramics, musical instruments, paintings, antiques, a huge variety of trinkets, weavings and jewelry. Then in the late afternoon we will journey by train for 1.5 hour ride through the beautiful mountains and jungle scenery of the Andes before arriving at Machu Picchu. Overnight at the Hotel Hanaqpacha in Aguas Caliente. (7500 ft)


Day 4 (b/-/d) Machu Picchu

This morning we’ll take the bus up the mountain from Aguas Caliente to the Lost City in the Clouds: Machu Picchu. We will have a to ask permission of the Entities of the place: The Puma, The Condor and Lights of Spirits – then we’ll visit the Seven Places of Power. This entire stone complex is a high voltage magnetic focal point and every invocation made at Machu Picchu is amplified to incalculable proportions. Merging our energies with this sacred site and deepening our understanding of the Inca mythology will be our focus today and tomorrow. Overnight at the Hotel Hanaqpacha in Aguas Caliente. (7500 ft)

Day 5 (b/-/d) Machu Picchu

You may spend the day at leisure on your own in Machu Picchu or do an optional hike to the Sun Gate, Huayna Picchu or Temple of the Moon. You will be able to explore the Royal Tomb, the Funerary Rock, the Sacred Plaza, Condor Temple and the Inihuatana Stone (known as the “hitching post of the sun” is a carved rock pillar whose four corners are oriented toward the four cardinal points. The Inca were accomplished astronomers, and used the angles of the pillar to predict the solstices). Overnight at the Hotel Hanaqpacha in Aguas Caliente.


Day 6 (b/-/-) Machu Picchu

We have the morning free. You may return to Machu Picchu to spend some private time and have lunch, or have a private sound ceremony with Herbert, a local shaman. Entrance ticket bus ticket not included today.)

Late afternoon train to Cusco, overnight in Cusco at the Royal Inka I Hotel.


Day 7 (b/l/-)Cusco/Altars

Full day tour of the main Incan altars around Cusco, the navel of the earth. Cusco was laid out on a grid plan to reproduce the shape of a puma, their sacred mountain animal. Connect with the Uma or water element at Tambo Machay balancing male and female, Puca Pucara, Qenqo where the Puma awakens, and the huge ceremonial center Sacsayhuaman, marked by the huge stone paw of the Puma.

The pre-Inca site of Sacsayhuaman is high above the northern edge of the city, and forms the head of the puma and the Coricancha temple forms the center of the grid. Sacsayhuaman looms over Cusco to the north with three ramparts of zigzag walls that run for nearly 300 meters on its north side. We will feel the energy and honor each of these sacred places. Moderate hiking required. We’ll get to have a lovely evening in the city of Cusco. (11,500 feet) Tonight we overnight at the Royal Inka I Hotel.

Day 8 (b/-/d) Cusco/Altars

Morning visit to Kusillucchayoc, the Temple of the Moon. Feel the power of this sacred cave as you return to the womb, the beginning, a rebirth of your sacred self. Once inside, you feel humbled by the aura of this ancient sacred space, a transformation has already begun. We will have a closing ceremony to say thank you to the Apus and Pachamama for this magical time in Peru. This is a time of heart opening and healing, as you feel yourself infused with love, you remember who you are as a divine being of love and light. Lunch and return to Cusco, late afternoon free to rest or explore Cusco. Farewell group dinner. Tonight we overnight at the Royal Inka I Hotel.(11,500 feet)

Day 9 (b/-/-) Cusco/ Lima/Home OR Extension to Lake Titicaca

**Morning flight from Cusco back to Lima. You will have a day room available at the Manhattan Inn to shower, rest and prepare for your late night flight from Lima back to Miami. For those interested, you will have the option of going on a tour of Lima for 3-4 hours and then to dinner together before going back to the hotel to get our bags and going to the airport. For those not going, you may have dinner at the hotel restaurant before departing for the airport. Evening flight to Miami – arriving on August 14th. We say our last goodbyes, hugs and kisses as we prepare to take our new dream of heaven back to our lives! The personal transformation that has been initiated during your time in this sacred land will not stop once you arrive home. The powerful energy of the Apus and Pachamama will always be with you, supporting and moving you to deeper levels of your own inner wisdom. You now have the invisible thread of connection with Peru – perhaps you will be called to return.

**For those opting to stay for the lake extension you’ll have a private bus to Puno this morning, and on the way will visit some sites like Raqchi and others. Evidence indicates that Raqchi was a complex village with multiple constructions for various purposes; including farming terraces, “kanchas” (apartments), “wayranas” (buildings having only 3 walls), “qolqas” (storehouses), different shrines, religious water fountains, etc. Possibly, it was an important “tambo” in the route toward the “Collasuyo”. The most important building within the complex is the Wiraqocha Temple. We’ll have a box lunch, or if possible we’ll have lunch in a nice restaurant on the route depending on the timing. Also we’ll stop to take pictures of Vicuña and Alpaca (Andean Cameloids) herds along the way. Near Puno, we may also visit the ruins of Sillustani which have Inca and Pre-Inca constructions that belonged to the Tiahuanaco culture developed in Bolivia if we have time. Overnight at the Taypikala hotel.

Day 10 (b/l/-) Lake Titicaca

For those flying home you will arrive early this morning in Miami. For those staying, we’ll have an early breakfast and then we will travel by bus and boat to visit the floating islands of Uros on the highest navigable lake of the world Lake Titicaca! We continue from there to visit Taquile Island – a natural island, where people are still living in their millenarian traditions. Our guide will share information about their social life, costumes, their beliefs, Pacha Mama – Mother Earth, Mama Qocha – Mother Lake or Sea. Afterward we will lunch in a nice restaurant at Taquile Island (optional vegetarian lunch). Overnight at the Hotel Taypikala Lago in Puno

Day 11 (b/-/-) Aramu Muro

Tour to Aramu Muro a huge mysterious door-like structure has recently been discovered in the Hayu Marca mountain region of Southern Peru. Hayu Marca, 35 kilometers from the city of Puno has long been revered by local Indians as the “City of the Gods.” The door, or the “Puerta de Hayu Marca” (Gate of the Gods/Spirits) has been at some time in the distant past carved out of a natural rock face and in all measures exactly seven meters in height by seven meters in width with a smaller alcove in the center at the base, which measures in at just under two meters in height. There is a legend that spoke of “A gateway to the lands of the gods,” and in that legend it was said that in times long past, great heroes had gone to join their gods and passed through the gate for a glorious new life of immortality, and on rare occasions those men returned for a short time with their gods to “inspect all the lands in the kingdom” through the gate.

Another legend tells of the time when the Spanish Conquistadors arrived in Peru, and looted gold and precious stones from the Inca tribes – and one Incan priest of the temple of the seven rays named Aramu Muro fled from his temple with a sacred golden disk known as “The key of the gods of the seven rays”, and hid in the mountains of Hayu Marca. He eventually came upon the doorway which was being watched by shaman priests. He showed them the key of the gods and a ritual was performed with the conclusion of a magical occurrence initiated by the golden disk which opened the portal, and according to the legend blue light did emanate from a tunnel inside.

The priest Aramu Muro handed the golden disk to the shaman and then passed through the portal “never to be seen again.” Archeologists have observed a small hand sized circular depression on the right hand side of the small entrance-way, and have theorized that this is where a small disk could be placed and held by the rock. According to some individuals who have laid their hands on the small door, a feeling of energy flowing has been commented on, as well as strange experiences such as visions of stars, columns of fire and the sounds of unusual rhythmic music. Others have said that they have perceived tunnels on the interior of the structure!

Late in the afternoon transfer to the airport at Juliaca to take the flight to Lima, upon arrival group stays at the airport for the flight back home, unless other arrangements are made. We say our last goodbyes, hugs and kisses!

Day 12 (-/-/-) Home

You will arrive back home early this morning.
