    It was wonderful.  I had very high expectations prior to the trip, and I am happy to say that all of my expectations were exceeded.  The staff, accommodations, and food at the camp were fantastic.  The wildlife was amazing.  We saw the "big five" and were fortunate to experience the great migration of wilder beast and zebras into the park.

    The trip was great! Tibet and Bhutan were fascinating. The Bhutan people are so very wonderful I wanted to bring them back with me, great country. Tibet is so wonderful. Some areas are better than others, but the temples and the whole atmosphere with Buddhism is amazing. We had the best guide ever, and the driver was wonderful. We had a great experience.

    The Galapagos is best experienced aboard a larger boat (100-person), and while I took the three night version I recommend the four- or seven-night.  Of course, the three night/four day left me wanting more which is the best sign of a great vacation.  While you may think a larger boat creates crowded situations with lines and congestion, this was not the case at all.  The boat is organized, and there are two trips a day to the islands providing extensive time viewing the animals and feeling Darwinesque.  Yes, the blue footed boobies do have blue feet, and yes, the iguanas do actually swim.  Words do not describe the experience, and pictures do the booby’s feet an injustice.  Do not leave this earth without the experience!

Day 1 : Fly from Kathmandu to Megauly / Transfer to Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge in Chitwan

Visiting: Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park

starting in Kathmandu, fly to Megauly. On arrival you are met and transferred to Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge, located within serene Chitwan National Park, and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon join your English-speaking guide and embark on a tour of the lodge's surroundings to see the rich botanical diversity of your surroundings and an impressive variety of colorful birds that call the area home.

Day 2 : Full day of jungle activities at Tiger Tops

Visiting: Chitwan National Park

After breakfast you will ride on elephant-back into the jungle, looking for rhinoceroses, Bengal tigers, gazelles, monkeys, and other animals. In the afternoon you will enjoy a trip in a dugout bark canoe, gliding gently along the river near the resort to witness crocodiles and an impressive number of wetland birds in their natural habitat.

Day 3 : Full day of jungle activities at Tiger Tops

Visiting: Chitwan National Park

Today involves a full day of jungle activities, including a game drive in search of tigers plus hike to the crocodile sanctuary with bird watching en-route.

Day 4 : Fly from Chitwan to Kathmandu

Visiting: Kathmandu

Transfer to the airstrip in time for your return flight from Meghauly to Kathmandu. Note that we can arrange easily Kathmandu airport transfers and Kathmandu hotel nights upon request.

 A short luxury trek along the lower Everest Base Camp trail is a wonderful way to extend your trip.
