  • Reviewer: Sergio Antonioli located in Italy
We have just returned to Italy after our great trip in Madagascar, where we discovered a wonderful country
We hope to visit again someday.

I want to say that our trip went very well.

Mr Jose, the driver-guide, was very professional and discreet and we have traveled many miles together while Miss Zarasoa watched over our itinerary so everything goes as planned.
    A big thank you.

We will certainly recommend you to our friends and acquaintances who want to go to Madagascar.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Antananarivo, City of a Thousand

Discover Antananarivo and its daily life. A visit to the Old City, the palace of the Queen, will introduce you to the architecture and urbanism of this particular city.

Day 2 : Crossing the highlands; Antananarivo- Antsirabe – Ambositra
Our highland crossing into the region of Betsileo brings you to the first stop in the town of Ambositra, famous for its workshops and Zafimaniry Wood Carvings. We spend the night here.

Day 3: Ambositra – Ranomafana
Take advantage of your morning to visit some workshops or some surrounding villages and we will hit the road in the afternoon to reach the rainforest in Ranomafana.

Day 4: Ranomafana National Park visit.
An early morning wake up will take you in the trails of the rainforest with some park rangers to discover lemurs in their natural habitat. A visit at night is also planned to present up close animals such as Fosa (small puma), chameleons, frogs and the smallest lemur in the world: Microcebe.

Day 5: Ranomafana– Ambalavao – Andringitra
We leave the highlands and the rainforest to continue your journey towards the South with its semi-dry landscape. The first stop of the day is in the small town of Ambalavao, one of the cultural treasures with its architectural houses with verandas. We will overnight here before our hike in the Andringitra.

Day 6: Andringitra
Hike and climb the Andringitra’s mounts to enjoy the unspoiled scenic views.

Day 7: Ambalavao – Ranohira

We leave the highlands and continue our journey through the dry lands.
