This 2-day/2-night hiking tour is based in the picturesque village of Blair Atholl, 2 hours by train from Edinburgh. Itinerary

Friday
Travel to Blair Atholl on the early evening train; if travelling from Edinburgh, you will be met by your guide at Waverley Station however if you prefer to travel from another station, please advise us in advance.

Saturday
Ben a' Ghlo: A multi-topped massif, walking distance from the village containing three Munros: Carn Liath, Bràigh Coire Chruinn-bhalgain and Càrn nan Gabhar - we will walk up the relentless, open slopes of Carn Liath first before staying high on the ridge linking the other two tops before descending and walking along estate tracks back to the village. (1100m/3500ft ascent, 18m/30km, hill tracks, some rough ground, 7-9hrs).

Sunday
Carn A Chlamain - Starting with a gentle and pleasant but fairly long walk up Glen Tilt to From Forest Lodge, it is a fairly straightforward 2.5 mile hike to the summit from there, returning by the same route (800m/2800ft ascent, 25km/15miles, good track, hill paths, 6-8hrs). Of course, we will always have the option of doing an easier walk on the Sunday, or even taking it easy and doing a walk around the castle grounds or looking for salmon in the River Tilt!
